Another musical ghost story for Mayfair’s Halloween ‘17 Extravaganza
This one inspired by the Hitchcock movie
Rebecca
In empty halls we drank a toast

In sheets of rain I saw her ghost

And listened to the sea call out her name
I stood upon the precipice

To taste Rebecca’s every kiss

Kiss the storm and kiss the sea below

@Brian64 - Rebecca from 1940 with Lawrence Olivier is an amazing film. The character OWNS everybody in the film yet is never physically present. A masterpiece of cinema.

Really enjoying Steve Walsh's later stuff. Strikes a nice ambient vibe and texture.

Been enjoying some of Robin Loxley's stuff.
My current favorite, and constant replay, has to be his Ain't No Way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_KTIaOzwPAw
A little Blusey with some folk-like feelings to it.

Yeah unfortunately his voice is not what it once was, but his two solo albums Glossolalia and Shadow Man are both excellent. He still sounds pretty good most of the time, and the music on those two way make up for it anyway.

Based on a 1951 flood that destroyed the town of Neosho Falls, KS:
Ghosts
It's just as if some restless wind blew their dreams away, far away

It's just as if those dreams had never been, but oh-

I feel their ghosts around me now- I hear them say

They've come back home to dream those dreams again
