THRESHOLD: Patrick Williams, 1973. One of my all time favorites. I remember when it was first released. Every high end stereo store in town was using it as a demo record and it still sounds great today. I recently turned 80, and no, contrary to popular belief I don't listen to Larwence Welk! Just finished listening to broadcast transcription of a 1938 Metropolitan Opera performance of The Barber Or Seville with John Charles Thomas, Lily Pons and Ezio Pinza.

Now listening to a 2001 Paris Opera performance of Die Zauberflote.

Thought I'd lighten up from my usual fare.
