Was listening to some of the Bach cello suites earlier, in honor of Bach's birthday. Here is Pablo Casals playing the Suite No. 1 Prelude. Check out the pipe dangling from his mouth.

Haven't listened to this one in a long time. The best song from Elton's Blue Moves album imo...with Crosby & Nash backing:

Currently listening to Frank Zappa: A Token Of His Extreme. Holy $#!T, this is an insanely technical and amazing live performance. The Mothers Of Invention must be from another planet.
@dave g
Took it to heart - now listening, thanks for the link!

A couple more from Blue Moves...enjoyed hearing these again. It's been so many years...this album may be better than I remember it.

Yes indeed......... This album was much better than "Rock of the Westies" IMO....... It takes some effort on the listener's part, but if you put the effort into it its quite a treat........... Kinda like McClelland's Dark Star!!......... :)

Thanks for bringing this one to light, I just listened to it all the way through.......... Amazing album.

Currently listening to Underworld ~ Second Toughest In The Infants, this is one of my top five albums of all time. It never gets old or stale and I’ve listened to it hundreds and hundreds of times, :puffy:

I do think you're correct about that. And the best albums are almost always the ones that take some effort.
But ROTW did have a few gems:
And if you think you've seen gasoline burning in my eyes

Don't be alarmed, tell yourself it's good to be, it's good to be alive

Don't close the shade I'm scared of the darkness

I'm cold as a razor blade, inches from madness

Take the wheel I think this ship is sinking

Two versions of Lesley Duncan's "Love Song". Such an incredibly beautiful song.
The immortalized version from Tumbleweed Connection, and Heart covering it live.
Love is the key we must turn

Truth is the flame we must burn

Freedom the lesson we must learn

Do you know what I mean?

Have your eyes really seen?
