I've got an hour or so of Vivaldi concertos and sonatas queued up, played by Il Giardino Armonico.

Beef, it's an MA 6100. I've upgraded my headphones to Sennheiser HD650s, and my main speakers are B&W 602 S3s.

I was listening to Emerson, Lake and Palmer's "Tank" earlier. The bass notes about 2/3 into the piece are unbelievable. We used to test how good our speakers were by that track. Trust me, with real good headphones, you'll wet yourself.

Currently listening to Prairie Home Companion, currently hosted by Chris Thile, mandolin player extraordinaire. I've listened to the show faithfully for ~35 years when Garrison Keillor hosted. Right now Sarah Jarosz is singing.
Love PHC, and Garrison. Really love old radio, and PHC is a brilliant blend of the old and just old fashioned, with great humour, but reverence. Listened every time I could for about, yes, 35 years, often taping the show. I have a box filled with cassettes, and I don't mean a cassette box. Have and reread "Lake Wobegone Days", (where all the women are strong, all the men are good-looking, and all the children are above average), and "Leaving Home", hardcover, of course, often.
A lot of great music on this list. I'm a massive John McLaughlin fan. Was listening to "My Goal's Beyond", "Extrapolation", "Inner Mounting Flame", "Visions of the Emerald Beyond", and the live in Central Park album, "Between Nothingness And Eternity" a couple of days ago, after noticing, (and playing), "Love Devotion Surrender" with Mahavishnu and (Devadip) Carlos Santana the day before, whilst looking through albums.

Still not enough, as I just flipped Miles' "Jack Johnson", when John was in the band, few minutes ago.

So beautiful to hear, so painful to watch.
