Barleycorn, Going For the One was also the last Yes album I ever bought as well. Too funny, I guess we both have good taste. GFO had only a few tracks that I enjoyed, the rest of the album was just so so.
Currently listening to Joe Walsh's Barnstorm. Rocky Mountain Way rules.

Where you come from is gone...where you thought you were going to weren't never there...and where you are ain't no good unless you can get away from it.

I'm really enjoying the new Jeff Beck album, "Hailer". This one is a bit reminiscent of "Guitar Shop", with an interesting and up-to-date social commentary.

It's been an eclectic music day for me. Started the day with velvet underground's 3rd album with my morning pipe. Then while mowing yard listened to James Gang -Miami, Pink Floyd / Animals, and then first Danzing solo album. Now listening to John Prine - the MissingvYears waiting for the rain to stop so I can start the grill.

We're big John Prine fans, he's a real treasure. We saw him last summer with some neighbors who wasn't familiar with him. After a few songs,he started "Sam Stone". My neighbor leaned over and said "his songs are pretty sad",just as Sam Stone was starting. I said "this one doesn't end well either". That was John and Steve Earle, what a great show.
