Big Toad fan here, Brian. I remember seeing this performance of "Woodburning" on the Jon Stewart Show back in 1995.

Jon looks like a teenager.

Thanks for posting that Dino...I hadn't seen it before. Dulcinea is such a great album.

For all you Satie fans, here's an interpretation from the great Blood, Sweat and Tears album

Dino, that was cool, I preferred the first version, but they were both interesting. I first got into Satie from MY DINNER WITH ANDRE, I thought the music was haunting and sought out who the films composer was, then found out they were using Erik Saties’ Gymnopédie no.1.

Brian and Dino- Enjoying the TTWS flashback........ I got into them for a spell in the 90's, then lost track of them........ I haven't heard some of these songs for 20+ years....... thanks for the reminder.
I've had the BB's "Pet Sounds" on for a good while now.......... I never tire of it!..........

Just a few months ago I read BW's autobiography. Quite an interesting and crazy story. He really went through a lot going from his abusive dad to that psycho psych doctor.
And just after that I watched Love & Mercy for the first time. I'll be very surprised if you haven't seen that. I thought Dano's portrayal of the young BW was really good.

Well I wonder do we learn

Seems we're making the same wrong turn

I thought this light would comfort me

I thought it would be easy

But there's a tugging at my sleeve

And too much baggage I brought with me

I was listening to Marc Cohn's first album, and remembered how blown away I was by this song, when I first heard it coming out of my speakers in '91, when the album was new. Here's the classic "Walking In Memphis"
