dino, Tull is still one of my favorite bands. I have a tattoo of Crest of a Knave from my wilder youth.
Roger, speaking of Bill Evans I am listening to Kind of Blue right now!

Kind of Blue is the album where I first heard Bill Evans. An iconic album. Dino, Evan's Stella is great, also My Foolish Heart, anything on the first Tony Bennett album, Waltz for Debby. With Evans it goes on and on. Also love McCoy Tyner.

I think you all know I'm a huge Bill Evans fan, having posted many videos, in many different groups and in solos.

I noticed a few on this thread have indicated a similar liking for his music.

Here's a interesting clip of Bill with Eddie Gomez and Danish drummer Alex Riel, accompanying Swedish singer Monica Zetterlund, in a performance of "Monicas Vals" ("Waltz For Debby" with Swedish lyrics) in rehearsal for a concert in Copenhagen, 1966. This was originally done on the wonderful album Waltz For Debby with Bill and Monica, in 1964.

And, if you have time, about 45 minutes, here's a fascinating look at the trio rehearsing for this same concert, as documented by Danish TV.

Hard to believe it's been a year to the day. RIP, Ms. O'Riordan.
