You won’t hardly find dark fired Kentucky in a danish blend, instead it’s quite similar to American aromatics main ingredients are Virginias and Black Cavendish with few burley, if any at all. And of course fruity and spicy aromas. Think of Mac Baren Vanilla Cream Flake or think of Stanwell tobaccos, think of W.O. Larsen - Black Diamond…

Yeah shag cuts and dark fired are more of a Dutch thing IMO.

I looked him up just a moment ago, yes of course grown up with his fairytales. And there are some other Hans as well, kings, princes, princesses. But still for me as german native speaker the name Hans is more connected to that well known sphere. But what contributes is that the Danes and Germans are living next door.

Maybe dark shag cuts for rolling your own cigarettes come to my mind. But they had remarkable pipe tobaccos from their colonies like Java or Sumatra. Theodorus Niemeyer was one of the well known Dutch tobacco kings. What’s left today? I don’t know.
