My best advice, which I don't always follow, would be to put those lesser blends in jars appropriate to the quantity and put them aside to age and try again later. Your tastes change, and aging may improve them. Then sit down with your most prime candidates for tin-opening and select about three. Don't expect them all to thrill you immediately. Some might. Others might take several bowls to show you their delights. I wouldn't smoke any leaf to use it up. I have a few jars that just hold space. I can't smoke 1Q these days, but I keep it around, for now and then, or when.

I have only been piping a little longer than a year, so I totally need to consider revisiting blends later. I have been focusing my funds more towards tins lately because I'm worried about what will be available in the future.

I am trying to get through a few jars just to save space. As one jar is finished, another tin will open.
