I agree with everyone who listed Virginia and Va/Per blends. Bright Virginias have a bit of a grassy citrusy thing going on that just fits summertime.
I also agree with everyone who recommends trying Orlik Golden Sliced. I personally don’t care for it all that much, as I think the bergamot topping is a little overwhelming, kind of like smoking an orange peel. I can see how it would be a summer favorite though and I do smoke it occasionally. It could be the perfect summer blend if it’s to your taste.
Carter Hall also rings a bell for me in the summer, but that’s probably just the sensory association from spending some good summer nights with friends on the back porch drinking beer, listening to music, and smoking bowl after bowl of carter hall
