What is your perfect smoking setting?

I am partial to 2 different settings. One is in my office chair surfing the net and smoking forums. The other is the same as Uncle Arthur, in a comfortable chair with a good book!

In my leather club chair with my feet on the foot stool , watching the TV and surfing the net or doing my paper work for work . But nature is my true love . Hard to beat a smoke setting on a rock taking in the horizon . :puffpipe:

I carved out a spot on my covered back porch with a table, chairs, my ashtray and tamper always at the ready and my garden nearby. Makes for a great, relaxing smoke any time of day or night.

I just love to smoke when I paint in my studio with a cup of black coffee or at home when relaxing with a new book or a movie.

Feet up and reclining in my lounge chair. Classical music background and a glass of Pinch on the rocks. Clanobucklin, get that cave built before you really regret not having your perfect spot. A man deserves his turf.

Hi everyone. This seems like a reasonable place to put my first post.

Alone in my backyard, on my lawn chair with a Jim Beam on the rocks, Zac Brown on the stereo and my dog at my feet. That is my my perfect smoking setting. In the winter it seems that my favorite smoke is in my studio while mixing a song or practicing the big bass.

We spend most of our time on the patio in the summer, so that is where my table is setup. I love an early morning smoke with some coffee and the newspaper and/or a book. I can smoke in the garage, but need to acquire a nice chair/stool to sit in. I have yet to weather my first winter as a pipe smoker....

The last place I enjoyed my pipe and the next. Some times it's the experiance of the setting, the people (or not), the tobacco, how the pipe smokes, and the state of mind I'm in. A perfect place can always be made or lost depending on those factors for me.

On the front porch in Fall, watching our Maple trees turn. The only way that can get better is if its during a thunderstorm. Thats when I usually deceive myself into thinking that I'll write the next great southern novel. I'd better just stick to reading the great southern novels and working in ER's.

While I enjoy smoking in the great outdoors, my most comfortable and relaxing place is my "Smokin' Hole".

for me it was really in two places, that the peacefulness of nature was just amazing:

Ile Saint Bernard (Chateauguay, Quebec)

Arnprior (Ottawa, Ontario)

Since those two places smoking at home has never been the same, but looking forward to moving to a new apartment (my own, not rental) in couple of weeks, with a nice balcony, watching the Mediterranean.....
