I am no aro enthusiast but this one is really good. You can actually get some flavor from it.

Christmas-themed tobacco isn't really a thing over here in the UK, and I will normally just smoke whatever seems good to me at the time - but last year my PMSS bestowed on me a tin of C&D's 'Snow Day' Wintertime Reserve, which I never got around to trying, so I'm keeping it to light up this Christmas Eve.

My favorite Christmas blend by far is one that actually isn't holiday themed but tastes exactly the way my grandparents' house used to smell around Christmas time growing up; which is Samuel Gawith Cannon Plug. It's got this almost indescribable flavor that for me is a mix of the aromas of a Christmas tree, holiday scented Avon candles, spiced eggnog, and sugar cookies baking in the oven.

I've tried all sorts of seasonal blends from various blending houses, but weirdly there's just nothing that captures the aromas of the holiday season for me quite like Cannon Plug. Give it a try if you can! puffy

Cannon Plug may be my favorite scented tobacco. I had never thought of it in a Christmas connection, but now that you mention that, I could see that. I'll have to try it during the holidays!

I must say that I do like the cut of your jib, sir. (McClelland Christmas Cheer stash photo).
The only CC I have left is a 2008 tin, and a 2012 tin. I save them exclusively for the holidays, and judging by my remaining ration, should be good for at least 2 or 3 more Xmas seasons.

Also, as a longtime lover/sufferer of Half and Half in all of its iterations, (it was my first smoke), I still have a soft spot for it, and I find the spice notes in it to also be apropos for the holidays, especially when smoked in a cob. The accompanying nic hit is just a bonus, as is the wife’s approval of its room note.

Whatever is my favorite at the time. No other tradition. And my general fav is 1792. But, with a few years of the hobby under my belt I have a few choices. But...I don't open a ton I've not tried before because the blends I (really) like are few and far between.

I also like frog, but frog can be iffy for me. Often it's one of the best, other times, not. Weird. Xmas cheer is the same for me.

Was Christmas Cheer, and still enjoying what I have. Then it was Cringle Flake, same story. They were both perfect for a holiday (for me) or gifting. Now, a bit sad that they are both gone. Sooo, I guess there are replacements from smoking pipes...dawn and dusk and sun bear are very nice special releases to gift and smoke.

All the above good for me on a special day, and I'd add frog on a log to the list. Could add more but many of us have cellars from being in the hobby.

Still hope to be surprised and see cringle flake again. Not holding my breath....

Since everyone is waxing poetically about Christmas Cheer....

My favorite unobtainable Christmas blends are those that were the Kohlhase & Kopp Christmas or Winter Editions. I've also liked the Rattray's seasonal blends which were made by Kohlhase & Kopp.

I think the first aromatic that I've enjoyed, and is associated with the season, is Thanksgiving Day. I've gotten my hands on a cellar that has 3 different years in it. I'm liking it more than anticipated.
I also got my hands on some Christmas Cheer (2 different years), and have 2 or 3 different years of Cringle Flake; none that I've tried yet.
Since the Christmas Cheer is the oldest (2011), I do think I will open it rather soon and try it first of these mentioned. I'm sure I won't go through it all, and will jar a fair amount.
In the past, I've tried We Three Kings, and possibly another 1 or 2 seasonally themed tins, but none were memorable for me.
I certainly hope that's not the case for Christmas Cheer.
