SPC Potlatch may have some Lat, but it gets lost in the crowd of six or so tobaccos. Usually I don't like so many, but Potlatch and PC Midtown Chestnut seem to say the more the merrier and make it work. Or to get away from Lat altogether, I think C&D has amazing burley blends, if you enjoy that. Then there is the whole dark-fired world. I like Russ O.'s Fire storm, Va/Per with dark-fired. Quality black Cavendish (such as PS unflavored) can be added to many blending tobaccos or blends for a whole new flavor profile.

Stay away from Dark Plug. It has no Latakia in it. It has no Orientals in it. It's just this horrible looking brick of Virginia's and Dark Fired's from countries like Malawi with little to no sanitation. Malawi only has 25k people in its army and 17 guns. 17. The other guys only have rocks and sticks. my neighborhood is better armed than that. Basically your buying blood tobacco. Do you want that on your conscience? Do you think they can afford fertilizer? They can't. Animals like elephants, hippos, big cats, monkeys, and bats all poop in the the tobacco fields. That's right, if you smoke it you're smoking Baboon poop. The result is this rich, deep, full tasting... I mean hideous monkey poop tasting mess. GH&Co has to put in a tobacco press for months just to squeeze out the excess poop. I'm pretty sure they sprinkle a little crack in there to keep people coming back. I'm smoking it right now with righteous indignation at GH&Co for producing it. Don't fall down this rabbit hole like I did. Stay far away.

H&H Anniversary Kake is a good one. Watch City Flake #558 and Old Dominion. I need to try the Match Victoria/Elizabethan everyone raves about.

I also like the Ani Kake. Spicy good.
I recently acquired a lb of Match Victoria/Elizabethan. The price is right. I'll say more about it- when I get some of it dried out.

I bought a pound of Shepherd's Pie from the Country Squire and I've really been enjoying it. I sometimes think that they lean too hard on the LOTR stuff, but Shepherd's Pie and Cowboy Coffee really do it for me.
