Really can't go wrong with anything you smoke in them though I am prone to Virginia/Orientals and aros.

Well, I remember you mentioning that reverse calabashes were kinda for strong/harsher blends, Cap'n. I was kinda saving my RC cob for those, but seeing how cavernous the chamber is, I guess very fine ribbon would probably be best as it'd burn faster. ?

They're really good for anything, but I do mostly use ribbons in them to keep from clogging the airway.

This is a MM McArthur pipe.
The bowl is 2.25 inches deep and the stem plus the bit is 8.25 inches long.
For perspective, that’s my pipe nail sticking out of it.
For other perspective, the thing is huge.
