Under its "half price pipes" category, Iwan Ries has a variety of GBD shapes for $60.
The N.C. pipe carver Jerry Perry has pipes in the $80 range in briar, Mountain Laurel, and maple, but he doesn't sell online; you have to attend the N.C. State Fair Village of Yesteryear in October or the TAPS pipe show in April.
And let me not forget Dr. Grabow, which is apparently the largest U.S. factory maker of briar pipes. They are their own thing, and not for everyone, but good, durable, smokers. I especially like the Royalton line with acrylic stems. Royaltons go for about $40. They smoke fine without a filter, or with an adaptor, if you don't use the 6mm filters.
