At some point, I'm going to end up rotating between Royal Yacht and Old Joe Krantz. In the meantime, there are many more blends to try, but very few end up "sticking" like those two...

No rotation at all...Whatever happens to sound good at the time...With over 150 blends in jars that I can sample from. I don't concern myself with keeping jars sealed for years...I bought it to smoke it.

Quite right. I don't see how anyone can have a true rotation of more than say 8-12 blends. Five is fine for me, like a baseball pitcher's lineup. And there's always the bullpen!

Mine changes but for the past few months it's been...
Mcc Dark Star

Mcc St. James Woods

GLP Union Square

Mcc Anniversary blend

Mcc 3 Oaks Syrian

GLP Laurel Hts.
When these jars are empty I will change up on everything but the Dark Star. That is always in my rotation.

I always have a few tobaccos open that I'm rotating through. I always am trying to finish a tin, but I sometimes get weak and have to open a tin of something new.

This. Everything I put in a jar is up for grabs.

Here is my stash, I keep it locked in a large cabinet that I inherited from my church. I have accumulated most of this over the last 2 years. As you can see, I have a few jars open that I sample from, depending on what I'm in the mood for.

I don't really have a rotation as such. I just smoke whatever appeals. The usual suspects are:
St. Bruno current and Ogdens from the 1970's

PS LBF

ODF

Warhorse

Wessex Campaign

Germain's Rich Dark Flake

Escudo - various years from 2000 onwward

Knightsbridge

Solani Silver

FVF 2011

Easy Chair 2013

Christmas Cheer 2013

Red Ribbon 2000 2008 and 1983

Marlin Flake 2007

Motzek Strang
and whatever...
Waiting in the wings for that special occasion:
Bohemian Scandal 2001

Renaissance 2001

Raven's Wing 2001

Stonehenge Flake 2001

Haddo's Delight 2005 and 2001

several Christmas Cheers from the 1990's

Red Rapparee 1996
and a whole bunch of other old crap...

Sable, have you opened any of the old style Pease tins lately? Each summer some friends and I get together - and have been opening BS, RW and Renn. The tins seem to be getting past their prime at an exponential rate. Last summer there was an RW tin that was rusted from the inside to the point that we questioned whether or not to smoke it, and the Renn tin had to be rehydrated.

IMO, this was some of the best tobacco ever placed in tins, and I fear it is reaching it's end.

Thanks for the heads up on the Pease tins. I've read similar stories elsewhere. Guess it's time to pop them, check them, fix them in needed, and jar them. If they're not great after 15 years in a tin, they're never going to be.

Jesse, I had a bunch of Pease tins from 2002 that dried out. You can tell by shaking them next to your ear. You will hear the dry tobacco shaking around in the tin. I hope yours weren't like mine. I hate re-hydrating tobacco.

Currently open and moving through an old 4 oz tin of Rattray Black Mallory, McClelland Yenice Agonya and McClelland St. James Woods and Sir Walter Raleigh Aromatic. The blends vary but the theme is pretty constant. Lighter latakia blend, Va/Oriental, Virginia or VaPer and, an aromatic for a sweet tooth.
