What is this?

This guy has an older pipe he says is from the 70's, its a meerschaum pipe but do not know what its worth or what it is?!?! Basically new, never ben smoked! let me know what you think...

he told me that the fella who bought it, picked it up in Europe in the late 70's while traveling.. All I know is that it is an meerschaum pipe

Looks to be an inexpensive meerschaum. Probably a decent smoker but no great value.

It looks like any of the other 10,000 versions of that old man (I've always thought that particular one to be one of the old Turk sultans) meers out there. I've seen anywhere from 20-60 USD as their price and would personally be willing to spend 35 USD, perhaps 40 with shipping.

Only meerschaums I find at all attractive are freehand churchwardens that are not only fairly rare, but very expensive. So I don't own a meer heh heh..
