Speaking of cages, I'm not into watching UFC, but I must admit I'd be tempted to watch this one:
I'd bet the farm on Cruise. Whatever his, um, unorthodox beliefs, he does his own stunts in his movies and is likely a physical marvel for his age. Justin Bieber probably thinks he absorbed boxing powers from accompanying Floyd Mayweather Jr. to the ring a few times. Cruise would beat the holy hell out of him and make him bow down to L. Ron Hubbard.

Funny, the grounds crews spend months grooming those baseball fields to perfection, and then the games and the spitting starts -- chaw, ice, phlegm, saliva, gum, and other stuff. I see that spitting is a macho gesture, like a bull snorting, but like the groin grabbing, it is way overdone. Hey, we can see it's fellas playing the game. Women's leagues also play some smart baseball and don't seem to require all the mess. Think of the savings in clean-up. Little leaguers too. But when the guys are in the zone, they can be remarkable. I still miss Derek Jeter and some of his lightning moves. I'm not even a Yankees fan.

I'm not so sure. Biebs has a 5'7" reach compared to cruise's 5'5", although cruise probably has a 20lb weight advantage. Bieber is also quite bit younger, and may have an endurance edge if it goes multiple rounds. Then again, his lungs are likely addled by weed smoke and vape juice, whereas Cruise probably has lungs that are pure as the driven snow.
Bieber also once survived a restaurant altercation with notorious hollywood badass and world renowned tough guy Orlando Bloom, and confidently threatened to "beat the fuck out of" a paparazzi member who took pictures of him being escorted into his escalade.
Then again, Flying Spaghetti Monster only knows what kind of Thetans cruise may bring to the fight, and what kind of boost that will give him. Plus I'm sure he learned a lot of good moves between Mission Impossible 36, the last Samurai, and whatever other films.
Although Bieber probably carries a lot of pent up "I really am a cool kid if people would just hang out with me" type of schoolyard rage.
This may be a closer fight than anyone is expecting. I think Bieber may be a dark horse.

Coming soon on PPV, $45.00.
Hahhahahahaha. MMA on PPV for $45. I don't have cable, but the last one I saw at my parent's place was like $125. One could buy a tin of McClelland 40th and a pipe to smoke it in, even at today's prices. I have a bus stop outside my office window that provides all the fighting entertainment I need.

Sports are huge business, huge corporate interests. Lots of insurance companies calling shots. And if "allow" or show openly chaw, then you can open yourself up to liability or at least that's what the underwriters say.

Holy credit card! I am glad I am not into fights on PPV. I thought $45 was high based on the max I'd pay to see a Cruise- Beber match. I'd pay $5.00 to see one of them getting whupped.

I have saved so much time and money over the past 35 years by not being a sports lover of any kind.
I just wish I know where it all went...
