I have heard 3 oaks syrian as well. Its on my list to try as its nice to have a crowd pleaser for large functions ya know..

3 oaks Syrian is FAR from what I would call a crowd pleaser!
Tastes great though!

Depends on the crowd, but yeah, it's not exactly Captain Black.

The only Oriental I have smoked is Frog Morton On The Town and I love it's sweet taste and perfect incense room note. :puffpipe:

I like an incense smell wafting in a cathedral or other airy building, but the incense smell is much too cloying to me to have it be appealing as a pipe tobacco blend, so it's not an association I'd make. Pipe blends have a wonderful fragrance, but no incense for me please.
