I just smoked my batch of two year old GLP Cairo. Mellower pretty much the same and a mild hint of strawberry. Is it better? No! Is it worse? No. Is it different? Yeah but frankly the most interesting part is having something rarer then it was when I bought it (i.e. can't just buy two year old Cairo that's been jarred up, well not for a price comparable to other brands and blends.) Though every once and a while something really does something wonderful, but there is no guarantee. In fact I feel like properly drying a blend does more for flavor improvement then age does.my experience says tobacco mellows with age. Which again like has been said can improve or ruin a blend. Personally aside from a few blends I don't find any real magic in it.
