Heh, that was one of my first questions when I joined this forum: what exactly is an OTC?

I soon learned that OTC seems to group cheap, PG-laden blends sold in pouches instead of tins, that once upon a time one could buy at any gas station or corner shop.

I soon learned that OTC seems to group cheap, PG-laden blends sold in pouches instead of tins, that once upon a time one could buy at any gas station or corner shop.

They're not that cheap anymore, and are mostly sold out online these days. Some have a lot of humectants, that is true, it's to keep the tobacco pliable so it doesn't turn to dust when you carry them in your pockets or sit on your pouch a few times.

I got 10 pounds of that one for about $150 a few years ago. I always have a jar of that one and a few pipes in my desk at work.
