Once I saw the writing on the wall in 2012, I committed to buying a 20 plus year cellar of pipe tobacco in a year. I added a few things over the years but 80% was bought in that first year.

The prices I paid back then were short money compared to now and some of my favorites were discontinued and I had loaded up on them.
Back then people called me Pollyanna and a paranoid weirdo. Look who is laughing now? lol

I Donn't plan on living forever but as long as I'm alive I will enjoy my pipe. When I join the community of those feeding the worms then my wife will pass along what is left...

To me cellaring is not hoarding ( I'm a very light smoker ), but storing stuff in our eerie cellar, meaning a fairly dark, very dry ( darkened window ventilated ) and fairly cold room below ground level. That is where we keep the pots and pans we do not use on a daily basis .
My friends mason jars filled with marmelades, jams, cooked beans etc. etc. Many more kitchen stuff and of course my tobacco tins .
Who are stored in cardboard boxes to really keep them in the dark.
Average temp. down there aprox. 11 Celsius.
