Ennerdale in many of my Petersons, well that's what I was smoking today.
A lot of Maple Plum Spice and deertongue blends in a Von Erck and Morgasons here.

Probably my most frequent go-to this month has been Newminster 400, in my Savinelli Porto Cervo 122 bent pot.

I’ve been getting into Kramer’s Father Dempsey lately—a very satisfying English blend with ample portions of delicious Latakia.
I came into some Boswells Northwoods, and GL Pease sextant yesterday. Have now tried both. I enjoyed both! Maybe a slight preference to the sextant

Nah, that's a smoke by smoke account. This is just best smokes of the month.
August is always a funny month for me. It bridges the time in NYC before I head back down South in September to avoid the excesses of the North East winter. Since things are not crazy hot here I have been smoking some lighter tobaccos such as Black Twist, Bob Choc Flake, Warrior Plug and some Condor Flake circa 1987 kindly gifted to me by a fellow forum devotee. I might try revisiting the Ennerdale Flake from last year, however I am just recovering from the Ennerdale Mixture that was so 'different' I had to force feed the majority of a 500g bag to @simong in an effort to get rid of the stuff!
Usually August means days where the temperature and humidity race to 100. So that means very light blends. Or it means high octane nicotine blends. So Capstan Yellow, Sutliff J4, Petit Robin, and good old Five Bros have been in the rotation along with my beloved codger blends and balkan sobranie iterations.
I'm smoking the same old shit that I smoked last month.
I've got three blends I really like, and they are G.L. Pease's Six Pence and Stonehenge Flake, and C&D's Mad Fiddler.
Come to think of it, i have only smoked Sun Bear this month.. Going to crack some Solani 633 and have a bowl right now to switch things up.
The majority of what I've been smoking this month has been gl pease union square. Now that the tin is empty I don't know what I'll open next.
I haven't been smoking much lately as the temperatures have been too unpleasant even in the evenings.
The monsoons have been making some of the afternoons a bit more bearable so I hope to resume with several new Country Squire blends I have acquired recently.
