What EU Blend Would You Like to Try?

One of my nieces is involved in a music program in Munich for a little while longer. I was hoping she might be able to pick up some Pfeifen Huber Virginia Golden Flake for me, but I'm not entirely sure my text to her ever went through. I've read so many nice things about this blend and love the pics of the giant rolls in the big tins.

From this side of the pond it feels like a bigger issue the other way. I'm sure there's a big ' grass is greener' element to this.

Its not that we cant get them its the tax and laws involved in importing them that puts most of us off. Shame because you guys have some very talented tobacco houses just as we do.

G&H are not available in Germany to date, but Samuel Gawith (at least from time to time). Although, Rich Dark Flake was never available outside UK. Maybe mixed some up a bit?

True, though I didn't say that they could be found at Estervals though that might be inferred. RDF does seem to flow out of the UK somehow, since a lot of US pipe smokers have poundage of it.

I don't look for things I don't have access to, at least for tobacco. Makes life easier. Other things, I used to. But it's not fun.

You guys have much more selection in USA than we have in EU. Grass is not greener this side of Atlantic Ocean.
I really would like to to try SPP plum pudding, Cult blood red moon, many 4noggins blends etc but they are not available here and it's not possible to order because of legislation.

I second the motion by several posts disagreeing with the idea that, because a blend is extremely difficult or impossible to get, it must be the best blend you will ever smoke. That is seldom true.

Where are you from? If I might ask. Spanish customs got tougher in the interim I was off the pipe. But there are ways get those blends. DM me if you need the help I needed a year ago.

4 Noggins worked fine a couple of times, semi-small orders.
Last order got lost, not a word from the post office and I don't think it ever got back to 4 Nog.
A test order from Smokingpipes got stuck and slapped with a tax far beyond what the Tobacco did cost so I let it go. Silence Method

Estervals is a German tobacconist that ships to the US. These days it's pretty fast and reliable, which wasn't the case a few years ago. Even now, the occasional order runs afoul of US Customs, usually really large orders, but it's rare.

in sum, all incoming parcels and letters from outside of the EU region have to be inspected and eventually, taxes&duties levied,be it tobacco leaf, there is 2 options You are to pay 100% more in duties, but most probably,it will be confiscated by Customs authorities,as a gift ,one 1,75oz amount of tobacco or a pack of cigarettes is acceptable.that's the way how the cookies crumble'' in the far north
