What English blends do you like and why?

Thought I'd resurrect this thread to compliment the other English blends discussion as this one mentions everyones favorite.

A good heavy, earthy english is Murdock's Pipe from McCranies. I enjoy it. ::

I like big bold English tobaccos. Penzance is a favorite, as is Park Lane's Knightsbridge. I tend to like lots of Latakia and Smyrna in blends. I find the Latakia is the base body and Smyrna add a rich twist.
Esoterica Margate and Pembroke are the two refined English tobaccos that I like. Same tobaccos but Pembroke adds a cognac topping which is just fantastic. Smooth, elegant all day smokes.

I have a number of English blends that I like. Sobranie 759, Squadron Leader, Renaissance, Bohemian Scandal, Levin Scottish Woods, Schurches Torina, Apertif, London Mixture, My Mixture 965, SG Balkan Flake. There are others, but these are my favorites.

Glad this thread came back up. I jumped in with both feet to this hobby and got blown up a few times with perique and heavy cyprian blends. Learning curves...

PS English luxury is my favorite English, Northwoods is nice. I just received a blend from 4 noggins, forget what it's called but it's super nice. My local B&M has great English blends (Mission pipe shop)
I also enjoy light Balkans, (grants tobacconist in San Fran has a great one)

as the heavier ones (bill baileys) is too strong for me
