The area just behind my daughters house, looking out her back door. I love to watch these cranes work the shallow pond (North Shore, Louisiana). They are very easily spooked, and I can rarely get much closer. Chilly here today, in the mid-40's. We're here for the next week.

We've been fortunate to have been to the Caribbean twice, St. Thomas and Aruba, years ago. Love that area of the world.

Well we got about 2 feet of snow last week.
As I get older I say to the wife when it dumps snow like that "remind me why we live here other than habit."
But most times I love the mountains.
