I really like that someone had a Dunhill that was his favorite, but most of you had something else. I have a pipe rack built around a tobacco jar that came
to me from my dad from his dad. But Dad smoked his pipes to charred ruins, no rotation, Granger always. My favorite tends to be the one I'm smoking
at the time. Tonight that's a bent apple carved by Jerry Perry of Colfax, N.C., made out of mountain laurel root with a gold-brown stem. What does it
say about me? I guess I know a good thing when I see it, mostly. I have three other Perry's, four Joh's, Peterson's, Sav's, and others. This pipe has a
little line drawing carved in the bowl of a mountain laurel with a bird high above, and dark walnut stain.
