I still say Peck was correct, I have yet to see a tin of Kingfisher for sale (retail) in the last three years or so.
Well, actually I probably have about five pounds or so but I really don’t pay much attention to it. At the age of 67 and living on a pension with a daughter and a granddaughter who depend on me I can well assure you that having a shit load of tobacco in my basement is the least of my priorities in life. Truth be told; I’ll probably never end up smoking some of that tobacco as some of it is not to my liking. Like I said; I’ll survive, and as I see it, if my survival, or priority in life depends on having numerous pounds of pipe tobacco then I am indeed in a very sorry state of affairs am I not? But hey... if you, or others can afford to do so and find it necessary then all the power to you and best wishes. :wink:Let's say you smoke 3 bowls per day on average. Call it an average of 3 grams per bowl or 9 grams per day. That equates to 3284 grams per year or about 7.25 lbs per year.
How many lbs do you have put away?
Peter Heinrichs Dark Strong Flake is exactly the same (as is Schneiderwind's Darley Moore), made in the same factory as the Orlik Dark Strong Kentucky. One of my favorite blends is Orlik Dark Strong Kentucky and that has been out of production for years
