I have a Savinelli 36 pipe rack that holds all of my pipes at the moment. I was on line looking for a picture to show you guys and ran across someone selling my rack for 2200.00. I was shocked because when I got mine back in 2000, it only retailed for 900 or so.
I got mine for quite a bit less. There used to be a retailer who sold cigars and pipes in Rhode Island where I was living at the time. He liked to get Cuban cigars for his customers and since I have numerous sources throughout the world we would trade for high end pipes and for the Savinelli rack I now own. I traded him a box of Trinidad Fundadores which cost me 272.00 ( the spanish pasetas was in the toilet at the time and this was before the euro)for the Savinelli rack. Needles to say I got quite the deal. Here is a pic.

What a beautiful rack. Hopefully someday my pipe collection will grow to the point I need such a holder...

I use the classy looking official PipesMagazine pipe storage container.

It holds more than a dozen pipes. It keeps them dry and

they don't end up flying around the cabin.

bigvan, you are my hero...lol. That is one large collection. The most I ever had at one time was 54. I thinned out my collection 4 years ago and am now filling it in again.
Lawrence, that is some very nice work.

bigvan I'm curious. Is that bamboo nestled between 2 churchwardens, a bamboo cutty. What a great idea. Also, I can understand how you trained the dogs to smoke briar, but can't figure out how you miniaturized them into your tobacco jar????? :?:

Lazydog,
That's one I made a few years ago during the pipe making seminar at the Chicago pipe show. The walls of the bowl are WAY too thin to actually smoke unfortunately.
