What Do You Smoke in the Morning?

Gawith Hoggarth Brown Irish X, OK I'm kidding. My first smoke is usually in the early afternoon, and I enjoy GLP Westminster or Low Country Black from Smoking Pipes.

Molto Dolce it's got a nice vanilla, honey, and caramel flavor to start the day off nicely

If it's early and I'm still drinking coffee I will normally reach for my CH/1Q blend.
If it's past breakfast though and I have eaten then it's usually a VA or VA/PER

Usually start my day off with Dunhill's Nightcap, just to get my day off and running.

Something with enough of lady nic to brighten mine eyes.

I don't tend to smoke in the morning, but I do like Old Gowrie with coffee when I do.

If I smoke a morning pipe, it's usually a medium or lighter latakia mixture. Chelsea Morning or Kensington if I've got a tin of one of those open. Right now it's Maltese Falcon, which I'm finding a tick too sweet for my tastes.

I have a rotation of what I call my first of the day smokes. I am a late riser so it could be after 12pm before I have my morning coffee and first pipe of the day. Here is my current rotation.

Most mornings I just want black coffee so a strong English. Lately has been Gas Light or Bow legged bear. On rare occasions want sweeter coffee and then butternut burley or molto dolce.

I've always been rather indiscriminate in the am ... at any hour, I've always been pretty much a 'whatever the spirit dictates' sort of smoker, my thinking being that if I like it at any hour, I'm going to like it in the morning ...
but, given the very sensible philosophy offered by yazimataz above ("I am a sheep and obey the label on the tin"), I just might bring organization to my behavior ... LOL
