I am not too big on the shape personally, not my style, but I love that chamber size (whish I had a pipe with as big a chamber). Grain and staining reminds me of stone, like a marble or something.

It looks hideous to me................ the bend of the stem is atrocious, looks like it has a "kink" in it.
But if it trips your trigger, by all means buy it........
This is an odd detail. It’s something that obviously repels in your case and attracts in mine. Maybe I should start a thread for pipes with idiosyncratic details. I don’t own a pipe like this actually. I think maybe the early Stanwell/Ivarsson designs do unequivocally what this pipe does with equivocation (in some people’s eyes, I expect). I guess that’s Ivarsson’s genius.
