What do you do for a living?

After being here a while and seeing some of the (frankly) absurdly large/expensive purchases posted here, I've been curious.
What does the community do for a living?
Forgive me if it's a blunt/personal inquiry.
I'll start-
I work in total loss valuations for commercial/industrial vehicles, but not directly for an insurance company.

Pretty standard low-level desk job. I make roughly 30k/yr in Portland, OR.

I'm a professional bra fitter. It's a tough job that requires a lot of hands on experience. I deal with boobs all day long and occasionally come home bushed. But hey, somebody's gotta do it!

I'm a volunteer gynecologist/chauffeur/carpenter/mechanic/nurse for a world class editor. Oh, and currently a greenhouse assistant among other things.

I'm responsible for the soldier's studies - what they wish to study, the whole "how-to" process of applying to universities and such.
