What do you all make of this

Seen this on ebay considered a bid as dirt cheap at the moment but a bit feminine, is it trash or any good?

I would not consider that for smoking. I would however consider it for display if I had a collection of unique tobacciana related items.

The bowl's pretty thin, too thin to me. The carving looks skilled, but the carver's eye doesn't extend to the

overall design of the pipe, which at arms length looks kind of lumpy and unbalanced. It looks like a commercial

piece that is intended to look like quite a work of art but clearly isn't. Nice carving (if it is carved and not cast) but

not an impressive pipe. I wouldn't exhibit it either.

It is look like for Deco not for smoking made by african(?) zulu.

If you look closely it has some holes drilled into it, probably to affix some sort of metalwork now missing.

Yeah, Agree looks a bit like those fairly cheap carved boxes you get everywhere here in UK almost want it just so I can see if it has been smoked.

I don't think it's feminine, but it's definitely unusual. Not exactly something I would spend my money on.
