Practiced some distancing from my son while smoking an Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Espressivo. Very full-flavored, but balanced. Not subtle. Had to see what the hype was about.
Forgot to attach the image from earlier. These La Trova are quite good but they cost like twice as much as a box of Trinidad Reyes, which I personally find to be a punchier, superior cigar. Oh, and the boxes of La Trova are 12 ct and the Reyes are 24 ct. So you're looking at 4 times the per stick price. Habanos would probably point to a price per gram of tobacco measurement to justify this (who am I kidding, they wouldnt even bother), but cigars aren't dope and you're surely not getting 4 times the smoking duration. Anyway, they're good cigars but a bad value proposition. My 2 cents, anyway.
I enjoyed a JR Cigar Alternative to Dunhill Valverdes. A nice, smooth Corona. I always buy far enough ahead of time to allow 4-6 months in my humidor before smoking these sticks. It works. Cigars are pretty much a golf course event these days. I only wish I had played well enough to deserve a nice smoke!
Andalusian Bull with ice water. An interesting cigar in desperate need of some reasonable vitolas. That's the conclusion I've come to after finishing nearly a box.
Illusione 68 Bombone. With its particular pungent fuminess and tight roll, I would've guessed it was blended/rolled at Tabacalera My Father, but it's from TABSA. Slightly wonky burn. I'd smoke more but not seek it out. Prefer HVC from the same factory.
