Worked again for shithole boss. Came home and cut some 1x3 boards to size and wrapped them with black velvet material for a 120" projection screen.

Gota do a fire alarm inspection at a Church this morning. That shouldnt take too long, then home and tearing out some kitchen cabinets to make room for my new commerical stove. I cant wait.... I have to pipe some gas line then done. Ive been cooking on the grill and my camping stove for the last year. Then off to pick up a new hot water heater cause the one in the celler started to leak a few days ago. Oh the joys of home ownership. Renovations are alot of work and even more cash, but the house is starting to shape up now. We started with a totaly gutted frame of a house. Now down stairs is done except for the kitchen.

Then got to come home and take care of her some more haha. Hope your days were a little better.

Got up on my only day off this week, smoked pipes, drank coffee. Helped my gal take her sick cat to the vet. Its probably too sick to survive but she wants to spend a lot of money proving it and its her money so I'm okay with that; I like the big buggar too. Smoked more pipes and wasted a solid afternoon hanging out here. And now I'm going out to a little hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese restaurant for the best pho I've ever had (and I have eaten a lot of pho in my time). Going to smoke more pipes when I get home. I see a theme here....

My wife and I took a little road trip today and visited a few waterfalls in northern Wisconsin, it was a beautiful day and the fall colors were in full swing. I brought one of my cobs with me and enjoyed a couple smokes sitting near the waterfalls, then we stopped and had a nice dinner on the way home. Now it's time to enjoy the rest of my evening and get ready to head back to work tomorrow...

Ok, here's a few shots from yesterday. Right around the falls was predominantly pines and firs so it doesn't really showcase all of the color that we saw, but there's a little bit of it shown here.

worked 1/2 day, picked up my two 4'x2'x2' subwoofer cabinets and brought them home to finish, then dug out a 30"x30" hole for my new Heat Pump condensing unit that's going in a couple of weeks from now.

Sprayed some good ole lacquer black paint on the two bass bins for the garage system. Will be spraying more speaker parts tomorrow, as well as painting the trim that got replaced during the window replacement last week.

Woke up, ate breakfast, cleaned house, worked on novel a little bit, worked 10 hours, came home, took a shower, smoked a fine cigar, then worked on my novel for a couple of more hours. Coming together nicely. I think Im about 22,000 words in about now and the story is starting to get nice and suspenseful. Gonna have a beer or two then head to bed.

Sat around the house, took a little nap with my youngest daughter in dad's great big comfy chair. Then me and the kids (I have 4) went and picked up all the leaves in our courtyard and I cleaned and treated my Koi pond.
And for all there hard work I took the kids out for ice cream. There ya go.

Drove back from a wedding that I went to yesterday - damn, the food was good, those Catholic church ladies put on a good spread! This afternoon, catching up on paperwork, smoking and going to mud about 6 corncob pipes which have been waiting patiently for the honor. After 50 smokes in the ones I've already mudded, I'll call that experiment a rousing success.
