What Did You do Today?

List what you did that might be interesting(or not), and include photo's if you can ( fishing, working, restoration projects, chasing the wife in her new negligee, etc)
I washed both the company truck, and my Suburban, then worked on polishing the aluminum wheel I have off of it...no pics though. IT was a great sunny day in NC.
Fabricated a angle iron bracket for my son's Honda CRX to mount a fuse block in the engine compartment.
Got up in the attic and found a bunch of old photos of cars...This is my last 1969 SS396 El Camino.

Nice El Camino! I had a '64.
I spent the entire day at church, well till 5 o'clock anyhow. While waiting for the priest to get there, I had four hens and a tom walk in front of my car at about 6:15 am. The tom noticed me and puffed up like a Thanksgiving Day Card!

I've owned 3 of the 1969 El Camino's and that one had all matching numbers in it. 396/350 HP and it was balanced and blueprinted. :mrgreen:

I spent the day loafing around in the B&M I frequent... Smoking fine

Pipes & blends, with a Cigar thrown in for good measure. Between good

conversation & company, I had an enjoyable day accomplishing nothing in

particular.

I had the day to myself so I took the beast with me and ran around doing some errands for a part time business I am starting. Came home and found that both of the watches I ordered recently can in and so I sat around ogling them for a bit. Then we went out to dinner with my neighbor.

Baked some butter cookies for the folks and caught up on a few phone calls. Spent the day only smoking mild blends on purpose enjoying the warm weather.

Got up at sunrise and made coffee and eggs ...

Went to an international baseball game with Canada against Korea at the Al Lang Stadium in downtown St. Pete, 1 block from my condo.

Then Bella Brava Italian Restaurant for Dinner.

Geez....I hauled manure out of cattle sheds and then bedded them with fodder stacks.
Did chores and sorted some pigs to cull.
I think its best to leave pictures out of my day.
Everyday is a work day on a farm.

Went to Mass,....came home and ate the first solid food in three days, you never know how good riced potatoes, steamed carrots and broccoli are, till you live on Gatorade for half a week. :mrgreen:
Getting a bowlful ready to go so I can go relax in the big leather recliner and read some more of "The Irish In America".
Speakin' of that.....I think I'll change my avatar for Saint Patrick's Month.

Woke up to a leaky toilet, went to the hardware store and bought new tank guts for that, then loaded up the truck and trailer with the last bit of stuff from my old house and brought it to my new house. I'm about to go out and get my sick wife some soup and a Redbox movie, then I'll probably spend the rest of the evening on the couch, watching the Oscars with the sick wife.

Nothing too productive. Went to tool store and purchased another air nailer, some fastenters, and then got on line and put in a tobacco order. The best part of the day was enjoying a couple nice bowls of Dunhill EMP.

I stayed out fishing too late and didn't get up in time for church. So I haven't done much of anything today, going to go fix dinner now.

Did not do anything productive at all( well, I guess chasing the wife around this morning and enjoying a spirited version of Mattress Mambo), went to eat brunch/lunch at Bob Evans, scoured the Web...again, walked over to the Fresh Market and got a large Filet Mignon for the wife and I to eat after grilling it. Gonna read some chapters in a book, finish off the night with some McClellands-Wilderness.
