I drove to the mall (something I try to avoid if at all possible) to see about cashing out a $100 Steve Madden gift card I found on the ground while out on my courier route today.

Composed a mini-rant (synonymous with Blog) on anti tobacco legislation, sent e-mail on status of pipe I ordered three weeks ago. Calmed down and enjoyed another bowl believing I solved all the important problems worth bothering about.

Today i spent some time with the pipe sculpting my small boxwoods getting ready for Fall. Then i relaxed with the rest of the bowl reading the morning paper.

While I smoked a nice Preben Holm with 7 Seas reg, I went on Ebay and bought another Preben Holm. If it is in as described condition, it was a steal IMHO @ $ 40.00. :wink:

Listened to the Grateful Dead LIVE from April 29, 1972 from the Musikhalle in Hamburg, Germany. The Pigpen jam from that show is out of this world. It sounds like a freight train with no brakes out of control barreling down a mountain at top speed. Then all of a sudden it goes right into One More Saturday Night. AMAZING!!

Took a chainsaw to the deadfall out behind the house. It sounds corny, but I felt pretty manly when my neighbor waved "goodmorning" and I waved back smiling through the cloud of smoke around my head. Then I remembered The Baron's advice about Escudo and the 30% boost in manliness, and had to set the saw down so I didn't lose a limb because I started laughing so hard. This place is great :clap:

Not a whole lot, except drink iced coffee. I went to the gym this morning though. I'm back to my good running time and working with my regular weights again. I had a rough go of it early this year, but it looks like I'm back in business.

Today has been a great day. I began by having my morning coffee, grabbing ten of my pipes that needed cleaning, and put my two sons to work on their weekly pipe cleaning chores. I parked my butt in front of the tv and turned on the US Open Tennis. I have been sitting here, puffing away and hanging out. Soon I will have to get dinner started for the troops. My 2 sons, one daughter and their first cousin. Going to bake a couple of chickens, home made mashed potatoes and gravy and some steamed green beans.
