Just popping in to thank y'all for the beautiful cigar porn. I was admitted in Seattle for a new treatment protocol, which was planned months ago. So not at all a surprise, nor emergency - though it is quite extensive. The trip to Texas was for results needed to be able to qualify for this current treatment. I haven't had a smoke in a few days and won't for some time yet, but in the meantime i'll be leaning on the fine fellow enthusiasts of the leaf here by sojourning along with you through your pictures, words and daily experiences just the same. All is well and - rest assured - i'll be back to posting as soon as i'm back to smokin'.
For now i'll leave you with the last shot i took while getting started on my parting cigar from Galveston last time i was there: an El Cubano Red Label (made locally in Texas City).
Enjoying a Caldwell Long Live the King as I wait for the family to depart for our Christmas eve dinner. No "Feast of the Seven Fishes" but a nice local Italian place. Merry Christmas to all those celebrating and good wishes to all those who are not.
A wonderful lil hour smoke this morning. Sweet n Spicy Golden Grahams, thick chocolate syrup, rich sweet espresso, real chewy smoke, surprised by the amount of succulent spice left, a lot of citrus cutting through on the finish like an espresso with a lemon wedge, after 12 years there seems to be a full tank of gas left in this mf. Damn.
