My wife hung out all day yesterday. I was aching from all the work outs and too many carbs on the hospital diet, so she brought me a big old stainless bowl full of spareribs, beef sausage and some chicharrónes from a local Mexican vendor. I ate nothing but meat yesterday and she gave me a full body massage. Went to bed early and hit the streets this morning shortly after 4am with a local El Cubano cigar and stayed out for a couple hours awaiting the sunrise. Was a nice 2 hour walk; and after all the meat and muscle tenderization i'm feeling amazing today. 
Hoping today is the last day. Going to speak with the warden this morning (head doc) and see about getting released. Looking forward to getting some mileage under my feet again with lots and lots of lunting in the coming days/weeks.

Earlier I smoked a Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 Connecticut
Nice freedom walk yesterday with a Rafael Gonzales through the garden and onward to the Air BnB. Spent the day opening 2 boxes from Smoking Pipes and one from Watch City. Lots of new stuff to try here for the rest of the stay in TX (until Oct 8). Happy as a clam to be outta that cell!

Smoking a New Cuba Robusto this evening. These cigars are a Cuban sandwich style and most are fairly loosely rolled. Except this one it seems, first out of the bundle. Flavor is a bit off of what has been normal for these as well, Oh well, price was right!
