Is there one in particular that will be first?

Hope all is going as well as it can for you
Thanks, man. Kind of in the thick of it right now. I'm told to expect worse before it gets better, but -- like everything -- this, too, is only temporary.

I'm sure i'll be on the upper shelf when i get back up north. I still have a decent selection of good stuff here in Houston with me for the couple weeks i'll be here after release, too.

That, in addition to the fact that none of this seems to be keeping me from rotating my pipe collection either as i have a few new ones on the way. My wife will be flying down to join me when i get out (hospital only releases to caretaker). When she does i'll be having her throw the new goods into the mix. I typically just take a handful of meers when i travel, but in this case, i'm looking forward to taking some new briar for a test ride before my return. I know, from past extended periods away from the leaf, that the return is always sweet. Looking forward to it. ;)

Took my dog for a walk but she turned for home after 20 minutes.
She getting older? Mine used to walk with me for 4-6 miles a day a few years ago. By last year it was down to about 1 and now it's just a quick walk down the drive (250' or so 1 way) and a short jaunt down the street (maybe a few hundred more feet at most - on a good day).

How are those Hot Cakes anyway?

Yeah... 6 now. She's also a weenie, both literally and figuratively :)

So today is "cold" = 56°F, with recent rains. And she just wants to do this

We used to do miles. She still loves trails, especially when on vacation. Definitely prefers the hotter weather. I love her tremendously

Edit:
the hot cakes are pretty good but they took 5 months to get there... I'll have to look at what I paid but as I recall it wasn't much, maybe $4 per

*
$84.24 for a 25- box. We'll see how the rest go but strong possibility of re- buy

They are stuffed, hard little smokes, 45 minutes easy

Gourmet Series Petite Corona earlier today

Not mind-blowingly good like the first one, but pretty good. Unique. Persistent dried flowers...

I really like these, as well as the red "Trici Traca" version

I finally got a couple of those blacks to try as well

Beautiful day here, hope you all had a nice weekend
