Hot Cake half Corona after work. The more these rest the better they get

So far I have loved almost all of the PG offerings.

Real glad to hear that. To be honest I've been a bit apprehensive, as I've talked this brand up and I know a few here have laid out some $ on them.

I've not had great luck across the board. Some have been great. That Gourmet Petite Corona was one of the best smokes I've ever had

Frustrating burn, eh flavors, weird smoke production.

I put this 4.5 X 52 down at the 2 hour mark, right at the edge of nicotine sick

Here's something I think I'm learning, lemme know what you guys think-

All else equal (and it never is but let's assume), something like a 52rg wants/needs to be smoked differently than, say, a 40rg. You can adapt, to a point, some surely better than others, but at the end of the day a given smoker will have a preferred pace or cadence that either lines up with what a particular cigar needs or it doesn't

I think that assumption is correct.

I was going to knock off work a little early and enjoy a nice long cigar on the deck. That didn't work out, but I still have time for a nice Fuente Brevas Royale Natural, listening to the owls and coyotes, and watching the stars come out.

Two years ago this weekend, I bought my first 2 cigars: an RyJ Reserva Real, because it was on many lists of good cigars for beginners, and an Arturo Fuente Curly Head Natural, because that was the only AF they had. I smoked the RyJ first, and it tasted like a lot of nothingness. A few weeks later I smoked the Curly Head, and wished that I'd started with it first: it was what I'd been hoping for in a cigar. Since then, I've smoked numerous other Gran Reservas: they've been satisfying almost every time.

How do you like the Moonswatch man? They seem fun, and definitely look sweet. Is it really a 2 year warranty?
Yeah, I had a feeling a question like this would pop up sooner or later. I've got a soft spot for watches, whether they're serious pieces or just for fun.

The MoonSwatch is a cool piece, no doubt. It's a fun take on a classic, a "Moon" simulacrum you can wear when you're knocking about or just want something playful on your wrist. It definitely looks sweet, and they nailed the Speedmaster vibe. Let's be real, who's wearing a genuine Speedy to the playground? But to show off for the kids with the Speedy one? Now that would be fun. ;)
