Xmas cigar time, Aladino classic robusto
View attachment 358255

2 months rest at 55%, smoking very well but a tad fast - unless that is common with Aladino cigars?

May bump up the humi RH to the low 60's again.
I haven’t found that, I smoked a Corojo Corona the other day that took me 2 hours. You can smoke em to the nub they don’t get sour one of my fav sticks, @BenMN how did you like yours? Mine were at 62rh, I wouldn’t go much higher than that, my last batch was packed very tight, I could see them being plugged above 65rh.

Toscanos are on my short list to try next! Do you or anyone else reading this have a recommendation on which ones to try first?
I think master aged 2 is the best in that line and the antica reserva that comes in a 2 pack is really nice, a lot smoother less dark fired and more traditional cigar like but also still very Toscano

haven't had this one but it comes recommended

may have to look into the master aged series as well. I like these cheroot style cigars as they require no maintenance and are meant to be smoked dry. literal perfect yardgar imo

Padron 1964, aged one year. On the side for occasional sipping, unsweetened iced tea and a glass of Berneroy VSOP.

When I was handing out Toscanos at the lounge on Christmas Eve, an Egyptian gentleman reached into his bag and handed me this.
Said he buys a box every year, sticks it in the humidor until next December, then smokes one every day until Christmas.

Maybe it's just the goodwill toward man, but this is the best cigar I've smoked yet.
