What Cigar are You Smoking? 2024

I haven’t found that, I smoked a Corojo Corona the other day that took me 2 hours. You can smoke em to the nub they don’t get sour one of my fav sticks, @BenMN how did you like yours? Mine were at 62rh, I wouldn’t go much higher than that, my last batch was packed very tight, I could see them being plugged above 65rh.

Loved mine, blind- bought 10, have smoked 2 so far. Likely will re-buy as my stock diminishes

I was gettin' antsy to try 'em and clipped a few and found them tight. @pantsBoots told me they are supposed to be kinda tight (although I think he keeps his @ low 60s RH). Back into the box they went for a few more weeks (2 months total now). Tried again- better! Smokable, so I lit up and was pleased with performance

This taught me that even a small stick takes longer than I think to settle into 65RH

As an aside, I converted my last box that was running 69RH Bovedas to 65s a few weeks ago. Doubt I'll ever go back. Might go lower but no immediate plans to

I totally agree man. Somewhere I was listening to a Charlie Minato interview and they had him list his desert island smokes and sure enough the 1959 was one.

try a few, I think you'd find them agreeable to your work/lifestyle. an added bonus is cutting them in half if you only have time for a shorter smoke.

Yep, if my humidor drops below 55 I'll slowly work it back up to the low 60's.
Aladino is slowly becoming my favourite brand, I'll be going with the corojo line for my next smoke - the classic's suit when I prefer a milder strength smoke on a rare occasion. Gotta a couple of santis I'm dry boxing for a couple of weeks as they take a good 3-4 weeks to get to Australia sitting in those humi bags at I'm guessing close to 70%RH.

Yep, if my humidor drops below 55 I'll slowly work it back up to the low 60's.
Aladino is slowly becoming my favourite brand, I'll be going with the corojo line for my next smoke - the classic's suit when I prefer a milder strength smoke on a rare occasion. Gotta a couple of santis I'm dry boxing for a couple of weeks as they take a good 3-4 weeks to get to Australia sitting in those humi bags at I'm guessing close to 70%RH.

Lounge Lizards pod reviewed an Aladino for the first time a few weeks ago, they put up a Classic Elegante, gave it a perfect 10. I think the low price helped factor in that result but you can’t argue with that. Some of the best value in all of cigars. I’ve put up a bunch of stuff for trade that retails for almost double, just wanting several of the Aladino lines in trade. I hope they keep it up, I know some people have had spotty construction with them lately, as did I for a brief moment this summer when I was smoking them too wet (65-68rh), they need to be well rested but nothing excessive, I’ve had nothing but greatness since with no touch ups. It’s nice to see you guys enjoying them here as well!
