The winter storm has abated (at least for now), and I’m spending some quality time in my smoking tent with a Ferio Tego Metropolitan Habano

It’s a nice, medium cigar with a pleasant aroma. It started off a little peppery, and settled into a nice toasty, woody flavor. I’d smoke one again.

It’s nice to see Nat Sherman being kept alive in some form or another.

5.5 X 32, Honduran Corojo puro.

I gave these 2 months rest. Very interested in both the unique size as well as the Honduran Corojo tobacco

I clipped one a few weeks ago and found it tight. I sought advice from @pantsBoots and learned 2 things- 1) they're supposed to be kinda tight, and 2) I hadn't given them as much rest as I thought. So, I clipped and draw tested 5, and back into the box they went (68°F, 65RH). Couple weeks later and they are still on the tighter side but perfectly smokeable. It takes longer than we think for tobacco to equalize/stabilize...

Anyway, some nice flavors and even burn. Spices that remind me of pumpkin pie, Chex cereal, earthines that brings to mind real carrots or maybe the store ones that are purple and white in addition to orange. Light richness (!?), a cool smoothness that I can't yet identify. OK I'm gonna stop with all that. But it's real

Bottom line = like.

Coming up on 55 minutes. Glad I've got 9 more
