I've never heard of counterfeit non cubans. You can easily buy legit cubans if you stick to budget brands like Jose L Piedra, Raphael Gonzalez, guantemera, etc as nobody is going to counterfeit them. It's the thing that makes shopping for non cubans enjoyable, the quality control is usually excellent. Unless youre buying off some stranger in a dark ally I wouldn't worry. I could see individual sellers perhaps trying to switch labels on opus x and those super premium cigars but buying from a store it's 0 riskLooking for some Tatuaje cigars and...how prevalent are counterfeit cigars for non-cuban makes like this, these days?
