I always thought two tone cigars are gimmicky- they are designed for the looks and not the taste.

I bought 10 of the following - Penn Standard LE Stars ⭐️ and stripes.

Smoking one in it’s sick period - Not good as expected but not so bad that I can’t finish the ones I have bought.

Or maybe they would improve

“Sick period”?

“Sick period”?
Cigars bought from online discount vendors taste “off” for the first two weeks. I think (as many others) the reason may be due to the fact that they store and ship at a much higher humidity (75%+) to avoid it getting spoiled during shipping. They typically need about 2 weeks to stabilize to the humidity that is set in the humidor.

Monte Christo (#2 - Non Cuban Altadis made)

I find this looks and tastes exactly like the Cuban one which I smoked last month.

To verify I will do a side by side test later

Edit : As this is developing its Connecticut Shade wrapper is increasing the sweetness of the smoke and the taste is diverging from its Cuban brother. Still quite similar
