Black Pearl, my first cigar since December when I finished my program of one sampler cigar at the first of each month in 2022. This a from a five-pack, full sized, but not long, made by La Perla, I believe, and bought from Iwan Ries, a nice rich flavored smoke but not overpowering.

Yet another Olmec Claro. Question for those who have been enjoying these: all I've had is the Corona size and it burns fast, even for a Corona. Do the larger sizes burn relatively quickly for the size, too? They're well-constructed, but also have a fair amount of give for me, who is used to the "Cuban roll" of tight but entubado bunching.

Had a no-band barbershop pole on Sunday - bought on my admission fee to smoke a pipe in the lounge.

Today, Quorum Shade Toro.

Found a place that sells sewing patterns for smoking jackets and ulster capes. I've been wanting to learn for years, so why not try to do so by adding some class to my vice?

The H is for hump day. Can see a couple of my foul friends in the background grabbing breakfast.

That was a fowl joke - Mel Brooks would be rolling over in his grave if he wasn't still alive.

HVC 10th Anniversary. I think I can taste the uniqueness that is Corojo 2012, but this blend was kind of ho hum for the size and anniversary status. Maybe I just generally don't like AJ Fernandez tobacco?
