The Aladino line has become such a big hit. And so much better than current Camachos, IMO. The Corojo tobaccos used in Aladinos remind me a bit of a Cuban Partagas. The Aladino Vintage Selection offshoot is good too, and so are the ones with the Honduran Cameron wrappersAladino Santi. A dead ringer for the old pre-Davidoff Camacho Corojo. Going to have to buy a couple boxes. At 3 years since purchase, this thing was remarkable - incredibly complex profile and a swift kick o nicotine to boot.
No pic because we're watching a lightning storm roll by. Venus peeking out and fairly hazy above us, but Leoma, Tennessee is getting rained upon hard a few miles down the road.

Looks like a Yin and Yang Box Pressed Candela. I like how the top and bottom graphics look like circuit board traces from electronics.I’m not sure what this one is bu it looks really cool! With some Haitian coffeeView attachment 222743
So what is the Dewar's Japanese? Is like regular Dewars manufactured in Japan or Dewars attempting to make a Japanese style whiskey or something else?A night of firsts, and both are great. DTT Mi Querida and Dewar’s Japanese Smooth whisky. My weekend is starting out to be lovely! I hope the same for y’all! View attachment 222697
It’s a Dewar’s blend finished in Japanese oak barrels. It’s got a little smoke, wood, and is indeed smooth. $28 doesn't seem out of line for a nice whisky. A friend told me about it and I tried it.So what is the Dewar's Japanese? Is like regular Dewars manufactured in Japan or Dewars attempting to make a Japanese style whiskey or something else?
