How is it? Matilde's first few releases really impressed the hell out of me a few years ago, but they never seemed to grab the attention they deserved, and I stopped seeing them around as much. It's a funny thing how some brands catch on, but others don't.

I really enjoyed it. I was getting a pretty distinct and consistent dried fruit thing going on the finish, which was a pleasant surprise. I’d never heard of them before now, but I was impressed. It definitely felt like a small batch boutique type of cigar. Don’t recall anything specific about the burn or construction, so I’d say that was solid, as well.
