What Blend has the Highest Perique Content?

C&D Chenet's Cake is said to have 35% Perique. It's about as musty and funky a blend as I can handle.

Old Joe Krantz a heavy hitter with Perique? I love the stuff, in rotation with me for years, never thought of the Perique as being predominant. I guess that must be its certain something.

And Bayou Night at 50% Perique? Are you sure? It's mighty good stuff. I know it is a good strong blend, but I never thought of it as Perique spicy. This thread is a revelation.

I don't know about Bayou Night, but Exclusive does advertise a 50% perique content in its description, which seems like way too much for me. I'm smoking Old Joe Krantz now and looking at the bag, I would guess something in the 10-20% range. While the perique certainly contributes to OJK's punch in the gut, I suspect C&D's burleys are pretty heavy hitting as Big N' Burley also has a pretty high dose of nicotine, but has generally low nicotine components aside from the burley.

I like the vaper flavors to be present but not over powering. Not sure what the highest is in my collection but I enjoy them all for what they are.
The only vaper I shouldn't have bought was Cabbies Mixture. I bought 25 tins site unseen figuring I would love the stuff based on my love of St James Flake. Little did I know it had a high content of red virginia which burns my tongue off as soon as smoke hits it. I am sure I will have no troubles selling my Cabbies ten years from now, or maybe some would want to trade with me for them.
